How to use alerts

Learn what types of alerts you can receive from the platform and the different options you have for sending.

Alerts can be sent via email or SMS to inform you of the most critical things happening with your tracker. Alerts are specific to each user account.

Alert types:

  • Tracker enters/exits a geofence.

  • Tracker has a low battery.

  • Tracker sends tamper, temperature, movement, etc. alerts (supported alerts depend on hardware)

  • Shipment begins/ends/is late.

Turning alerts on and off step by step:


Step 1:

Click on the alerts tab at the top of the screen.

Step 2:

Select the alerts you wish to receive.

Step 3:

Click "Update notifications."
