Once you've spotted an asset on your dashboard map or in the tracker list, you'll often want more than just its last reported location. Clicking on an individual tracker takes you to its dedicated "Tracker Details Page"—your comprehensive hub for everything about that specific device. Here, you can personalize its information, monitor its health, and access historical data. Let's explore what you'll find!
Tracker Overview & Renaming
At the top, you'll see the tracker's serial number (its unique identifier). This is also where you can give your tracker a more memorable and useful name.
Personalize It: Give your tracker a meaningful name that makes sense for your operations (e.g., "Van 17 - Chicago Route," "Container TXL45," "Forklift 3"). This makes it much easier to quickly identify in your list.
To rename, click the pencil icon next to the serial number, type your preferred name, and then click the checkmark to save.
Key Information Flags
Below the name, you'll find a snapshot of critical, real-time data about your tracker:
Last Reported Address: The most recent physical location of your asset.
Battery Percentage: A crucial indicator of your tracker's power level, helping you plan for returns or recharges. This updates with each location report.
Notes Section
This is your space to add any relevant details about the tracker or its associated shipment.
Quick Reference: Notes entered here are also visible as a small snippet on the main dashboard's tracker list, just under the location. This is perfect for quick context like "High Value Shipment," "Maintenance Due," or "Client: XYZ Corp."
Commands & Reporting Frequency
The "Commands" section allows you to manage advanced configurations, including your tracker's reporting frequency (how often it sends location updates). For most tracker models, you can adjust this directly from the dropdown menu to suit your needs (e.g., changing from every 4 hours to every 15 minutes for more granular tracking). Please note that available options may vary depending on your specific tracker model, as some specialized models might have fixed reporting frequencies.
Events Log
The "Events" tab serves as a chronological record of significant occurrences related to your tracker. This is invaluable for auditing and understanding its journey.
You'll see events such as:
Geofence Entries/Exits: When your tracker crosses predefined virtual boundaries.
Low Battery Alerts: Notifications when the tracker's power level drops below a set threshold.
Tamper Alerts (if applicable): For trackers with light sensors, this might indicate when a tracker is exposed to light (e.g., if removed from its intended dark placement).
