This process outlines the steps for downloading and managing location data from the web app. Users can access detailed GPS tracking information for one or multiple trackers by logging into the platform, selecting the desired trackers and date ranges, and downloading the relevant data. The web app provides options to retrieve comprehensive location points or specific stop points, allowing for flexible and targeted data analysis over specified timeframes.
Download Tracking Data for a Single Tracker:
Log in to the GPX Tracking platform at app.GPX.co
Choose the specific tracker whose data you need.
Pick the desired date range
Click the download button above the map (Download these points) to save all tracking information for that period. To download only stop points, click the flag icon.
Download Tracking Data for All or Selected Trackers:
Sign in to the GPX Tracking platform at app.GPX.co
Tick the checkboxes for the trackers you want to download tracking data from
Click the cogwheel above the map to turn it on and set the date range.
To download the tracking data just for the selected trackers: Click the drop-down arrow at the top right corner of the map.
To download the tracking data for all your devices: Click the All button located at the top right above the map.
Note: After clicking the download button (Download these points) or selecting the 'Selected' option, a pop-up will appear. It allows you to choose between two options:
Controls Positions: Sends a CSV file to your email containing the tracking data.
Current Position Only: Allows for a direct download of the data, including the latitude and longitude coordinates.
Tip:
When downloading location data, always double-check the selected date range and tracker(s) to ensure you're capturing the correct information. For faster processing, if you only need to see where a tracker has stopped, use the flag icon to download just the stop points, which can help streamline your data analysis.
