If your AssetTrack device is experiencing connectivity issues, power cycling is a great first step to clear minor glitches or signal interruptions. This process helps reset the device without needing technical tools or commands. If the issue continues afterward, ensure the device is installed in an open area with a strong line of sight to the sky, and check for any visible damage.

🔧 Power Cycle Instructions

  1. Remove the 8 screws from the back of the device.

  2. Detach the magnetic backplate to access the internal components.

  3. Locate the power switch near the SIM tray and slide it to the OFF position.

  4. Wait 10 seconds.

  5. Slide the switch back to the ON position.

  6. Reattach the backplate and tighten all 8 screws securely.

💡 Troubleshooting Tip

Still seeing connection issues? Make sure the device is mounted in a location with a clear view of the sky. Avoid fully enclosed or metal-covered areas that may block GPS and cellular signals.
